Frittering Away

Our first full year of business was a huge success. It’s funny how chance happenings can completely change your life or in this case, business. The summer of 2013 was hot, long and hot! The weather effected our business, in the stifling heat no one wanted to eat. We refreshed New Yorkers and tourists alike with our signature Strawberry Basil Lemonade and Frittering Away swiftly became a lemonade stand that sold fritters on the side. We developed a second flavour, the sweet and spicy Watermelon Jalapeno Limeade. It was summer in a glass! Our guests were realising the potential of our delicious small batch lemonades and we packaged them in mason jars as cocktail mixers.
Summer had to come to an end and as the leaves turned we thought of rich, warming beverages. We developed our Ginger Lemonade, spicy with fresh ginger and rich with brown sugar, we served it hot to ward off a severe New York winter.
And now we come to 2014. We at Frittering Away have slightly altered our brand, we have a wonderful new logo and have become a lemonade company. Many people have asked if we will keep the same name. My answer “Can you imagine anything better than frittering away a long afternoon sitting in a rocking chair on a porch sipping on our delicious lemonade?” Frittering Away is not about fritters, it’s a lifestyle that we all aspire to!
